COTTONWOOD LIBRARY BOOK DONATION POLICY

The library gratefully accepts donations of gently used books that are in good condition, clean, dry and mold free during regular business hours.  

Following are the types of books we can accept:  

• Hardback books - fiction and non fiction  

• Paperbacks

• Children’s books

• Audio books

• CD’s, DVD’s and Blu Rays

• Arizona Highways

• National Geographic  

Following are the types of books we cannot accept:  

• Dictionaries

• Encyclopedias

• Homemade CD’s or DVD’s VHS tapes

• Textbooks

• Outdated manuals  

All donations accepted become the property of Bookmarks - The Friends of the Cottonwood Public Library and cannot be returned. These books may be added to the library collection, sold in the Book Boutique, online, recycled or discarded.  Upon request, a donor will be given a receipt, but we are unable to appraise any donated items.
